A4A Studio is a culmination of our experience in many architectural industries and our passion for architecture. We are a Southern California based Architecture firm that specializes in helping families to improve the quality of their lives.  Our mission is to help with the housing crisis in Southern California one structure at a time.  We strive to provide affordable services for  families who are interested in building additions, ADUs, and garage conversions, in turn helping them build equity in their homes and provide additional living spaces for their family members.  Of course, our work is not limited to that scope as we can help your non profit with a remodel or a small business get their space up and running. 

We begin our work with careful listening, comprehensive analysis, and an appreciation for the context of each project. We believe this approach will always lead us to straightforward and honest responses to the complex problems our clients bring to us.

Angana Shah Pathak, President/Architect, NCARB, LEED AP first received her license in Illinois and then in California.  Angana  grew up and trained in the great city of Chicago. She has been fortunate to have had great experiences  working at firms like Simon Glover, Kathrynn Quinn Architects, Filoramo Talsma Architects, Wheeler Kearns Architects and Brook Architecture.  She received her  Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture at Miami University (Ohio) and received her Masters of Architecture at University of Illinois (Chicago).  These experiences have allowed her to travel and live in many different countries such as Spain (Barcelona), Denmark (Copenhagen), Vietnam, Peru and India to name a few.  These lived experiences have shaped her aesthetic, the use of healthy materials and sustainable design.
